Exam Season, Relatives, New Converse and Sunglasses

YO! My last post was kind of a quick, non-informational post so here I am to do a more written one since it has been like 3 weeks (or more) since I actually posted anything vaguely interesting. But hey! It's exam season! I feel bad for not posting anything but you can't really blame me, or my 11 subjects. I am so happy I am already more than half way through so now I get more time to do whatever I want since I only have 5 subjects left (and they are the shorter paper 2 exams). I am still cramming my 3 sciences for my paper 2s. I am super cramming for my 3 subjects tomorrow. Good luck to me!

In case you didn't know, it was half term in the UK. Well since I am technically on exam leave, I started half term on the 21st of May, which was my last exam before the holiday. So I get 2 whole weeks of free time. -crazy rave- So... a few of my relatives came to the UK (from Hong Kong) to surprise my sister and I. -wave hi to my aunt- I mean, I love my aunts but it really was a shock since I am sort of in the middle of my exam period. So they came for 4 days and we got tons of good food and lots of pressies from Hong Kong. (The pressies will probably be separated into several posts.)

I feel like I talk about shoes whenever I talk about anything fashion-related. Oh well. I am a shoe girl. Anyway, my aunt got me a new pair of converse because my last pair is sort of dying. Poor baby. This picture makes it condition looks so much better than it actually is, I think it's the lighting. Still, poor baby!

I decided to go for a layered and different coloured pair this time. The old pair was a bit hectic to put on since the shoe laces were so long. So I went with the Chuck Taylor White and Blue Two-Fold. Doesn't it look pretty? (Just nod)

My current pair of sunglasses, I have had for like... 2 years? I got them for like £2? £2.50? But they were a really cheap pair from Boots which doesn't even work properly to protect from UV rays. They were more for the look. I got it a cheap white hard case just in case they break, not that I wear it very often. Come on, I live in the UK. Given that, the weather was lovely TODAY, with a nice breeze while the sun glared.

My Aunt, Kitty, also gave me her sunglasses which are just gorgeous. Every girl will love a pair of sunglasses like this... right?!

Old pair on the left. New pair on the right.

Love... Then Let It Go Theory

Theory: Love... Then Let It Go

Thought by: ME~

Ever heard of the saying:

"If you love it, let it go. If it loves you, it will come back to you"

Well, here is my version:

"If you love it, then let it go. If it loves you enough (or more), it will come flying, smashing or crashing back to you. In some cases, it might even hit you in the face."
~ Ka-Ching (My logic)

I guess this is a philosophical theory?

This is both difficult and easy to explain. Let's take the world for example (this was inspired by my awesome friend) and if you love it, you should let it go. Or in his case, it just abandoned him. Not the point. Anyway, if the world loves you enough, it will come back smashing into your face. No, don't take a punch as it loves you. You get my drift? If you don't, I don't know how else to explain it.

P.S. Please don't take this too seriously. However, it might still smash into your face.

Last Day @ School and Developing a Habit?

Annyeong! How are you?

I had my last official day of Year 11 today! I finished at 12:30 today and from now on, I am on study leave and no more school. I should miss Year 11 but I am just happy at the moment. I have had my last Biology, English, Geography and French lessons! (I probably am dropping more subjects but those came to mind first.) It sort of feel strange saying goodbye to another school year. However, since I still have exams so it is technically not over yet. Year 11 probably deserve another goodbye when all my exams are over.

I had an interesting (last) History lesson today. My so-called strict teacher bought the entire class cake! A chocolate cake! Okay, it's my second chocolate cake of the week since my Biology teacher baked us a cake but still, we had chocolate cake and went outside to play cricket. Cricket was...... FUN! (That's me being sarcastic.) The weather was not great today. Like seriously, yesterday was so hot that it was suffocating. Today was like: Hello! HAVE SOME RAIN! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~ It wasn't raining that bad, but compared to yesterday, it's like we got hit by a storm. The ground just went Blargh -dies- and got super slippery. I was already pretty terrible at cricket, it's been nearly 5 years since I last played, and wearing full school uniform with a skirt DID NOT HELP! I was destined to fail. Because: Failure = Awful skills + Skirt + Slippery. Being the last person to bat was totally no pressure. NO PRESSURE AT ALL. I was terrible but I had a friend who just slipped over, so I feel much better (because I am evil like that) and claimed that he did worse than me because he totally did. What made my failure even more apparent was the fact that all the boys on the other team took like 10 steps towards me when I bat. That made my awful batting looks more apparent than the word apparent.

Discovery: I think I am developing a habit. Do people even develop habits yet my age? Wow, that made me sound old. I am seriously just 16. Anyway, I am developing a habit of clapping. Sort of like this:

My face sometimes does that. But I look 70% less pretty.

Example 1: Oh really? That's great! -clap-

Example 2: Haha (laughs) -clap-

Example 3: Woo~ Fighting! -clap-

Example 4: YAY~ -clap-

Am I weird?

Laugh of the day: (If you are not laughing, you no know music!)

May, Summer Plans and Chocolate

Hello! The weather is exceptionally fine today. I am in a t-shirt and have a window open. Seriously, can you believe Britain can have nice weather like this in Spring? No, I can't either.

I know it's already 5 days into May but still, Happy May! I am sure everyone is probably going to have a better May than me since I have loads of exams. Speaking of which, I start my exams on the 10th! It's like 5 days away and I am super freaked out because...... it's 5 days away! I have been revising like hell but exams are still really nerve-wrecking.

It is a little early but have any of you got plans for the summer? I just received a letter like 2 days ago that I got accepted to this summer school. I was super excited. Okay, it's only a 3 days Food Science summer school so it sounds boring to most people. However, it seems like a lot of fun to me and I can't wait! I am also planning to do some work shadowing experience placement or get a summer job. It's quite hard but I want to make the most of my summer since it will be the end of all my stressful exams.

Have you tried these babies?

or

If you haven't had these babies yet, you should try them. You would be pleasantly surprised. Cadbury's Crispello reminds me of Kinder Bueno, bar the hazelnut filling. Kinder Bueno still tastes the best, but Crispello are quite nice. I swear I am the only person who doesn't understand the name Crispello. Why Crispello? Now I get to the Popcorn. When I first saw them I was like: Oh, this look interesting. I should try it. Then I tried them and I was like: I am not entirely sure if I like them or not. I mean they tastes awesome cos it's toffee-coated popcorn, extra coated in chocolate. I am still not sure if I like them or not, but they taste good.

It's Bank Holiday tomorrow! YAY~ Who doesn't love an extra day to whatever you want?!

What I Want In My Wardrobe #01

Hello! How y'all doing on this fine day? I am chilling with a glass of smoothie to this nice weather. Hope you are all doing equally awesome things. This might appear a bit like Tumblr., but I just wanted to start this segment where I show you what I want in my wardrobe. Basically, fashion things that I really love. So today's outfit is...

Crazy Addiction: We Got Married

Annyeonghaseyo~ (-bow at 90 degrees-) And that's about as much Korean as I know.

The weather has been exceptionally great today (considering I live in Britain), a bit like my mood. So I just feel like rambling to you guys. Hmm...... I am going to talk about my crazy little addiction that has been going on for about a week or so. Yes, it's Korean-related. Yes, it's We Got Married as you might have guessed from the title. If you don't know what it is, it's a reality show with fake married couples. Wiki page

Let's start off with my (and just about everyone's) favourite couple: ...... -anticipation-

Khuntoria!

There is absolutely no way you can not fall in love with this couple. THEY ARE SO CUTE! I am such a big fan of 2PM and seriously, I fangirl over 2PM. Big time. Nichkhun is one of my favourites and him and Victoria = PERFECTION! I love f(x) and 2PM and this is like a dream come true. THEY ARE SO~ CUTE TOGETHER! -squee- I am currently on episode 27? or 28? Something around that territory and and and..... -lost for words-.... cute. -containing the fangirl- They are the cutest things ever because Victoria is super pretty and Nichkun is cute. Do I have to say more? I think you get my drift.

My reaction to Khuntoria. Also to 2PM.

Adam Couple

2AM fan? Brown Eyed Girls fan? It doesn't matter if you aren't because you will love this couple nonetheless. They are super funny together. You have badass GaIn with the king of all divas, JoKwon. This couple is a must watch as they are the longest running couple on We Got Married AND you will definitely be laughing as you watch their married life. I just finished episode 12, GO CHRISTMAS DUETS!

YongSeo Couple

I know what you are thinking... it's Seohyun from SNSD! YES!!! Gosh, their musical nature of the relationship is already showing in the picture. (That's not a spoiler, don't worry.) They are your sweet yet realistic couple because they were very shy and awkward to each other at the beginning and takes a while to warm up. However, this one is a must watch for people who loves..... THIS ONE IS JUST A MUST WATCH! Oh, and sweet potatoes. And listen to I'm a loner by CNBLUE, great song.

I am also slowly sort of watching Kwanghee and Sunhwa (They are ending tomorrow! -cry-), JangWoo and Eunjung and Jinwoon and JoonHee. I can't wait for Taemin to be on We Got Married! -points at myself- A huge Shinee fan! I am sure everyone has been waiting for a Shinee member to appear on WGM. When summer comes, I am totally watching couples like Caramel Couple and Dimples Couple.

Where I watch the episodes (with English subtitles -YAY~-):
Khuntoria
Adam Couple
YongSeo Couple

P.S. I am also watching We Got Married Global which is just as cute. ^_^ -heads off to watch more Adam Couple episodes-

Sweet 16 With Awesome Pressies!

Hey! Yes, I am 16 now. Not that it makes a difference because I pretty much look the same and just about everything else is the same. Life doesn't stop or get better as you officially get a year older. The day before my birthday, because my lovely English teacher was making us do an extra 40 minutes of English in the morning of my birthday, I just went full on depressing mode. It was not pretty. But English didn't turn out so bad and I had an amazing birthday. So you don't just get a year older, you also have a hell of a time while changing a number. I am not going to go SUPER SWEET 16! BUT I am going to go -insert GIF-

This is a tiny bit over the top. You get my drift!

Here's some Wikipedia facts on 16:
  • 16 (sixteen) is the natural number following 15 and preceding 17.
  • 16 is a composite number and a square number, being the square number of 4.
  • It is the smallest number with exactly five divisors, them being 1, 2, 4 and 8.
  • The atomic number of sulfur.
  • Group 16 of the periodic table are the chalcogens.

My day:

School was pretty much the same. Lesson, break, more lessons, lunch then sport. I should have done yoga in Games but not enough people showed up and my teacher was awesome so we just all chilled. I got home and guess what movie I watched? Guess. You probably got it wrong. I watched Silver Linings Playbook!

Yes, that was my reaction at the end of the movie. It was so cute. Actually to be fair, that's my reaction to quality rom-coms (Not The Notebook). I have been told by so many people how good the movie was and I finally got a chance to to watch it and OHMYGOSH! It's such a good movie. I have now turned into one of those people who will recommend this movie to anyone I know.

I have to talk about my pressies! I am not bragging or anything. I just want to share my love and excitement and that little bit of awesomeness with everyone. :)

Dr Martens 1460 W in Red a.k.a. FAVOURITE PRESENT!

Dr Martens 1460 W Boots in Red, a.k.a. FAVOURITE PRESENT! I have been talking about getting a pair of red Dr Martens boots since Christmas and I am so happy I finally got it. They look so awesome. I need to give 4 years old mini-Ching a highfive! -self-five!-

Ignore the orange socks. I love those orange socks but they clearly doesn't match with the blue, either blues. Shoes seems to be a recurring theme in my present but apart from me loving shoes and getting two pairs for my birthday, I don't have that big a thing for shoes. I must say... I LOVE CREEPERS! They are so much more comfy than I thought. They also look awesome because I have been complimented a few times.  -cheeky grin-

Two very thoughtful presents from my parents. The lovely Paddington Bear bag is for my school next year because I am going to get so many folders and books and my mother is always the most awesome person in the world when it comes to getting things I actually need. Also my mother knows how much I FREAKING LOVE NOTEBOOKS! I have declare my love for pretty notebooks on this blog before, so I won't go into it again. So Thanks Mummy!

The present from my little sister, and father (sort of). Everything about my little sister is food related. EVERYTHING. I can guarantee it. I am quite sure the cupcake maker is 30% mine and 60% hers.

L: Little Sister's Card. R: Parent's Card.

My parents give me a numbered age card every year since I was 13. So I have 4 in my yearly increasing collection.

Presents from Beth. The sketch book is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! The paper has amazing quality. But what is with me and flower this year?! I have no idea either. Those are 3 bookmarks on the right there. Plus she gave me a little string devil keyring this. Apparently it's me wrapped up in a little keyring. Cheers Beth! She knows I LOVE FOOD~ Those chocolate are going to last me like... 2 days? Probably less.

I love this card! Because WITH GREAT HAIR ALWAYS COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY

Conclusion: I love my birthday!

It's Holiday Time! (My Past 2 Weeks)

Hey! It's been a while since I have been catching up to you guys. Before I knew it, it's already Easter holiday and Easter Sunday has already passed. But still YAY! for the 2 weeks of free time where I can sit around and do NOTHING! As depressing as it is, I still have to revise because before I knew it again, it's only like a month before exam season starts.

Anyway, if you continue reading... I should warn you it's just me rambling on about all the stuff I have been up to.

So first thing first... I TURNED 16! (I will have a post tomorrow for everything relating to my birthday ^_^)

Let's back up a little bit. I finished my Art exam! Yeah, school was a bit evil since I had Art exam the day straight after my French exam. I still have loads of coursework to clean up and other project works but at least those 12 hours are out of the way.

Fast forward a few days and it's the end of term and it's a half day at my school. It was so annoying that school finishes the day after my birthday. NOT COOL! Anyway, the lesson of the day was: DO NOT PLAY WITH SHARP OBJECTS! Yep, I learnt my lesson. I mean who the hell turns 16 and still cuts herself while playing with a sharp object?! ME -_- I somehow managed to cut my palm and thumb. It was that bad an injury but PE teachers are evil. I still have to play hockey and my cut split open. Screw hockey. But to be fair, I am pretty clumsy with sharp objects.

The week before and during moi birthday, the weather was terrible. It continued until like yesterday. It was cold and it was snowing. Seriously, snowing in March and April?! It's like raining rabbits and ponies but in snow terms. Spring should be like this:

But it was more like this:

I am exaggerating slightly but you get my drift.

However, the weather was nice on Saturday when my family and I went out.

So my holiday started and I have spent like 5 days relaxing and recharging. Now I am sort of in full on revision mode. Plus catching up on my lovely bloggie.

Oh, and I started watching The Mentalist! It is so good! Okay, I am only on like the 5th episode of the first season but I am loving it so far. I love any crime relating dramas. They are always the best.

History Revision = Hetalia!

Hey!

I HAVE A NIGHT OFF! Well, close enough. I don't have any homework tonight so I sort of have a break where I can do whatever I want. Which, after multiple Youtube videos, ended up being revision. Yup, I am totally that depressing to be revising on my night off. I mean I do care about my GCSEs but that's not the point right now. So I am revising history. When I say revising history, I really just mean watching Hetalia: Axis Powers.

(L to R) Japan. Germany. Italy. Chibitalia.

Please enjoy this GIF of classic Italy. :)

PASTAAAAA~

I watch it English dubbed because it's a surprisingly amazing dubbed anime. It's not strictly always correct history and it's a comic take on it, but it's information is not that bad. Watch the German Hyper Inflation episode. It's actually true to history. It can pass as history revision. Totally. Plus each episodes are only 4 minutes or so long. I can finish like 12 in an hour. Score!

Hetalia: Axis Powers

Episodes: 52 (5 minutes each)
Studio: Studio Deen
Year: 2009-2010
Genre: Comedy, Historical, Parody
Storyline: Italy, once home of the strongest empire in the world, has changed. This is the story of Italy (Hetalia), now a cowardly pasta-loving fool, and his friend (other personified countries of the world, namely Germany and Japan) as they live through strange but interesting moments in world history.

Everyone knows there are a lot of countries in the world. So instead of me rambling on about all the characters (countries) in Hetalia, I have decided to use pictures. Yes, it's confusing with so many characters.

Everyone love cute chibi version of things.

I am not even going to go into all the fan-fiction for Hetalia. There are far too many Yaoi/Shounen Ai ships. But I am going to take Belarus as an example of some awesome fan drawings.

Original

This one is just pretty.

Kickass Belarus and a male version of her = YES!

No, she is not the Ice Queen. This is just a pretty shoujo version.

By far my favourite fan drawing.
Seriously, SHE IS A LOLITA ASSASSIN!
That drawing style = I WANT!

I am only on Season 2 but I am loving it so far. I am totally keeping up my 'history' revision!

~Draw a circle, that's the Earth. I am Hetalia!~
